Working Principle:
When a BEV of BMW is involved in an accident, the two normally closed Pyro Fuses in the SME will rapidly disconnect, preventing the high-voltage electricity in the battery pack from being discharged outward. Meanwhile, the normally open Pyro Fuse in the junction box will quickly conduct, allowing the high-voltage capacitors in high-voltage components such as the EME to discharge their electrical energy within a short time, thus avoiding electric shock to personnel caused by damaged high-voltage components.
